Unlike traditional chemical peels, it's called the cold peel because it generates less heat and is a more customizable exfoliation process. Its key ingredient, 4-Butylresorcinol (Rucinol), is a powerful tyrosinase inhibitor (ingredient that prevents melanin from forming) that effectively reduces pigmentation and offers a safer, less irritating alternative to hydroquinone.
